This piece took inspiration from a wedding vase made by the acclaimed Santa Clara Pueblo Indian potter, Christina Naranjo. The original is in the collection of The Museum of New Mexico in Santa Fe. The warmly-hued shade is adorned with an intricate scrollwork overlay, which sets this design apart.
