I was looking for a solid fixture just the right size for our back porch that wasn't too much. It compliments our newly resided home which is only 1800 sq ft. Glad I purchased online. Local stores had plastic junk in this size range.

This fixture came with the ability to be a semi-mounted. This is exactly what we wanted for our porch. I had called the manufacturer and they couldn't tell me if it was a semi-mount as well as hanging.
