We use our light in our back intry it has only 3 1/2" above a door we could not find one, tell we found this one. It is nice to look at as well as it works graet!

Admittedly, I was looking to cut costs, and the price on this light grabbed my attention. I intended it for my kids' rooms and I figured with a bedside lamp it should be enough. I was wrong. [...] I knew it was fluorescent of course, but I didn't understand it wouldn't even illuminate a tiny 10X10' room enough to read a large-print book. It might be enough light for a broom closet. In addition, it has a flickering quality that could easily bring on a major headache. Needless to say, I'll be replacing both (I got two) with something that actually works. [...]
