We do not require an adult signature for deliveries, but please note that the decision to leave your package without a signature is at the discretion of the delivery person. I was looking for a lantern for the front porch that would fit between the porch ceiling above and the house numbers below. I wanted one that extended equally upward and downward from the electrical box. This 12.5 inch lantern filled the bill. When I received the unit, I had to realign the lantern, hanger strap and base such that they didn't look crooked with respect to one another. This wasn't too hard because the parts are held together with nuts and bolts.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
