We do not require an adult signature for deliveries, but please note that the decision to leave your package without a signature is at the discretion of the delivery person. This fixture is a big disappointment. It [...] became evident that the construction quality is so poor that the light will never hang straight. I wish I could correct the problem by boring new holes as another reviewer reported doing, but the overall unit is crooked (bad welding) along with metal shades that are crooked.

The small balls on the lower end of the two small rods attach to the main arm with brass screws that are to short. I had to replace both screws with longer ones the get any kind of thread engagment.\n\nThe upper end of these same two rods are inserted into a pre-welded ball with a hole drilled in it, the alignment of one of the balls was off causing the lamp to not hang straight, I had to ream the hole out to fix this problem.
