The 4" New Construction Non-IC Line Voltage Firebox maintains a ceiling fire rating in its design. It installs like any other downlight, but completely eliminates custom built boxes. In addition, it is UL classified to maintain fire ratings, where custom built options are not tested for anything. When using recessed in fire rated ceilings it is critical to use Firebox to maintain the integrity of the structure in the unfortunate event of a fire. This product may be completed with a variety of different trims.
