Santa wears white in this figurine, representing the snow-covered mountains of Norway. Pipka's Father Christmas of Oslo, the largest city and capital of Norway, is also carrying a Christmas tree. This symbolizes that every year since 1947 the people of Oslo have given a Christmas tree to the city of Westminster, Great Britain. They have done so as an expression of goodwill and gratitude for Britain's help to Norway during WWII.
