About Murray Feiss:
Over fifty years ago, Rose Feiss, an immigrant with talent and spirit, began sewing lampshades to occupy her time while her son Murray was serving in the Navy during WWII. What began as an endeavor to pass the time, developed into a cottage industry filling the days of many wives and mothers in The Bronx, NY. After the war, Murray joined his mother’s business and expanded it to include portable lighting. The company moved to larger headquarters, and the business grew. Three generations have nurtured the company and it now stands as a leader with a reputation for impeccable craftsmanship, innovative design and honest value. In 2002 the company opened a five and one-half million cubic foot, state of the art distribution center. The company now occupies several square blocks on Rose Feiss Boulevard in The Bronx, renamed by the Mayor of New York in honor of the company’s matriarch.
With pride in the past and commitment to the future, Feiss has expanded its extensive, copyrighted line of products to include grand chandeliers, casual fixtures, vanity bath lights with coordinated bath hardware, outdoor lighting, lamps, torchieres, wall brackets, and decorative accessories. A talented award winning in-house design team of industrial, graphic and interior designers work with engineers and draftsmen, color forecasters, and quality control experts to guarantee that only the finest materials are used and design integrity is maintained. These designs are brought to life in factories overseas, where over 3,500 skilled professionals manufacture the exclusive product. I wanted a black and cream sconce and this was the perfect answer for a difficult area to light between two cabinets. With a dimmer switch, the white glass looks cream and the bronze strip looks black. Perfect. A record 100% no returns with CSN lighting.

Purchased to match coorindating vanity light fixture. Like the size of the wall scone. Not too big, not too small. However, would have preferred a wided accent band around the light. Electrian installed. Also, installed dimmer switch and works nicely.

The rim almost looks black when in use but looks brown on the picture. It doesn't effect my room that much. The glass doesn't fit perfectly on two of my four. For the price I thought the glass should be perfect.\n\nThe sconces look very nice and I would buy them again. If you are a perfectionist then you may want to try a different one because the glass cuts may not be perfect.
