About Murray Feiss:
Over fifty years ago, Rose Feiss, an immigrant with talent and spirit, began sewing lampshades to occupy her time while her son Murray was serving in the Navy during WWII. What began as an endeavor to pass the time, developed into a cottage industry filling the days of many wives and mothers in The Bronx, NY. After the war, Murray joined his mother’s business and expanded it to include portable lighting. The company moved to larger headquarters, and the business grew. Three generations have nurtured the company and it now stands as a leader with a reputation for impeccable craftsmanship, innovative design and honest value. In 2002 the company opened a five and one-half million cubic foot, state of the art distribution center. The design looks great in the bathroom, but the glass domes have been sprayed or painted. The problem is the paint has drip marks that run down the dome light. It looks even worse when the lights are on. I am trying to see if I can buy replacement domes because I had already paid to have them installed. I didn't notice it when I took them out of the box. You can see the paint drips on all of the domes once they're installed.\nI had already thrown out the boxes so I couldn't mail them back.

I was very satisfied with the light. It looks great in my 1/2 bath and matches the decor perfectly. I love the design of the fixture because I think it looks elegant and gives a warm glow through the frosted shades. I believe this light fixture is a great value and looks much more expensive than it is. The installation was also quite easy.
