About Murray Feiss:
Over fifty years ago, Rose Feiss, an immigrant with talent and spirit, began sewing lampshades to occupy her time while her son Murray was serving in the Navy during WWII. What began as an endeavor to pass the time, developed into a cottage industry filling the days of many wives and mothers in The Bronx, NY. After the war, Murray joined his mother’s business and expanded it to include portable lighting. The company moved to larger headquarters, and the business grew. Three generations have nurtured the company and it now stands as a leader with a reputation for impeccable craftsmanship, innovative design and honest value. In 2002 the company opened a five and one-half million cubic foot, state of the art distribution center. The company now occupies several square blocks on Rose Feiss Boulevard in The Bronx, renamed by the Mayor of New York in honor of the company’s matriarch.
With pride in the past and commitment to the future, Feiss has expanded its extensive, copyrighted line of products to include grand chandeliers, casual fixtures, vanity bath lights with coordinated bath hardware, outdoor lighting, lamps, torchieres, wall brackets, and decorative accessories. A talented award winning in-house design team of industrial, graphic and interior designers work with engineers and draftsmen, color forecasters, and quality control experts to guarantee that only the finest materials are used and design integrity is maintained. These designs are brought to life in factories overseas, where over 3,500 skilled professionals manufacture the exclusive product. Every product is meticulously finished and quality tested, not once but twice by an independent team of engineers.
They are proud to be the exclusive manufacturer of Bob Mackie Home, a name synonymous with glamour and style. Additionally, they are the exclusive lighting and accessory licensee for the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation’s: Williamsburg Pure • Simple • Today: a collaboration that brings the traditional and the transitional heritage that defines Williamsburg’s commitment to authentic American design and quality.

We installed this as island lighting, but with three 100 watt bulbs, it really lights up our very large kitchen. We looked everywhere before we found this @ CSN. It looks great, too.

Comments about Murray Feiss Pub 3 Light Kitchen Island Light or Billiard Light in Oil Rubbed Bronze:
Unique, classy design. We use it above our pool table, and love the fact that it has matching single pendants, which we use above the bar, next to the pool table. The glass is a bit yellower than I expected, thought it'd be whiter. But it still looks nice, especially the oil-rubbed bronze.

I have searched for 2 years locally for an island light for our kitchen. One trip to your web site and I found what I was looking for. There is a huge selection, and after finding exactly what we wanted, shipping was fast. Thank you!!!
