We got 2 of these lights for our newly remodeled bathroom. The shade and scroll design are very pretty. The shade projects a soft glow in the room.\n\nAt first, I didn't like the design (a little ornate) of the backing of the light, but now that it is installed it looks very prety.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
