We do not require an adult signature for deliveries, but please note that the decision to leave your package without a signature is at the discretion of the delivery person. This chandelier was very easy to assemble and moderately easy to install. Because of it being a chandelier we needed to put it in our entry which has vaulted ceilings. It was not easy removing the old light or installing the new one due to the awkward nature of working 20 feet up. \n\nAs for the light the glass is bright frosted white. We were not able to use CFL bulbs in it as we had hoped because it is just too bright even with 4 Watt CFL bulbs. It takes some tweaking to get all the glass level and aligned correctly.
