Attractive design and it matches the paint color in my study. It is on a dimmer, and my only complaint (and a major one) is that on the highest or brightest setting it does not put out enough light. It is a good "mood" light, but not bright enough to be a work light and in a study that is important. Fortunately I have other lamps in the room.
