Am very happy with these fans. We mounted 2 of them under our covered patio to help keep our cool against the hot Texas sun. We also used 12" downrods for installation. The fans are great - very stable and quiet, no swinging or clicking noises, and the breeze they kick up is fabulous! One thing: the Ancient Stone color is a sandy tan, not a stone gray. Our bricks had both colors so either was ok with me.
