I have purchased several of these. They are high quality, easy to install, and good looking without being fussy or too ornate. I like the brushed nickel finish because it's neutral and goes with almost anything. Will buy again.

I read all the reviews before purchasing this fan and was slightly skeptical about the light problems others were having but I couldn't find anyother fan I liked so I took the chance. This fan is great! I am completely happy and satisfied with it. The speeds are great, the light is the prefect brightness, no noise and it completes my contemporary bedroom! My husband did the install all by himself and he said it was pretty easy. And it was his first time installing a ceiling fan. No problems with having to get a replacement light from from the manufacture yet so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

I have read that there are problems with the electrical in this fan. So far, we have not had any problems. The fan operates about 8 hours a day and even at high speed the fan is quiet. The fan has been installed for about a month.
There is a lifetime warranty on the unit which is an added bonus.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

My husband and I had just done a makeover on our guest room: we made it into a dressing room with closet organizer components. We wanted something simple to keep the air circulating and we also wanted a fan that looked like an airplane propeller to match some retro fashion prints that just happened to have airport themes! Voila!

The nice modern look goes well in my son's bedroom. It really pushes a lot of air with its fat blades and is whisper quiet. Low profile from ceiling keeps my son from being decapitated (6"2").

I ordered 3 of these fans for upstairs bedrooms. Within a month, one of the fan/light units completely stopped working. Customer service contacted Minka Aire and they sent me a new electrical register. I had an electrician replace the register. Turns out that the original one had burned out. (I guess Minka knows about this problem b/c they sent the right part!) Now, three months later, the second fan/light has stopped working. [...] Since 2 out of 3 fans have now stopped working, it seems like it's a manufacturing defect. I'm now wondering when the third fan will stop working; it doesn't get used as much in the guest room so I hope that it doesn't fail outside of the warranty period. The fans are pretty, but I also want them to work!

CSN customer service has been very good in dealing with these problems, however, it still takes a long time to receive any replacement parts from the manufacturer.

So far, so good. It has everything we needed for our small kitchen. Looks good and performs well so far. I would purchase another fan by this manufacturer.

this fan is the best i have found,super quiet,very soft breeze on low ,i dont have to use the higher speeds it moves the air really great,i leave it on 24\7 i will buy more for the rest of the house,well worth the price.
