My son uses the light to read at night in his top bunk bed. At first it was a little stiff, but he's gotten the hang of placing the light just where he wants it. It gives off good focused light and is easy to turn off and on. It has a heavy duty clamp and that's why I tried a little more expensive option than one you can get at a big box store. Nice stylish look too!
