Buying an atomic clock just makes sense. With radio-controlled time you'll never have to set your clock again. By simply selecting your time zone this clock will set itself to the standard national time for your area. Your time piece will always be on the right time so that you'll always be right on time!

All La Crosse Technology weather instruments, clocks and watches are calibrated daily to the atomic time standard of the National Institute of Standards and Technology. All instruments default to fahrenheit, inches, mph and all atomic time pieces are tuned to the 60 kHz, WWVB radio signal broadcast by the National Institute of Standards and Technology at Fort Collins, Colorado.

My husband really likes this clock for the projection. It is very clear and it doesn't light up the room. I, however, operate it. I had a hard time trying to figure out how the time zone was to be set even with the instructions. Also the snooze button is tiny and must be pressed 2-3 times before it will go off, but if you don't hit snooze at all, the alarm resets itself for the next day. It is very lightweight and I knock it over often. The backlight on the clock itself only lights when the snooze button is pressed. Knowing the temp is nice though. I keep the temp monitor in the house so I know how cold the house is in the morning.
