Le Klint was founded in 1943 when the Klint family decided to turn its popular lamp shades into a full fledged design studio. The effect this company has had on Danish design is beyond measurement. The designs created in the 1960's focused on a combination of sharp and smooth lines. The Klint tradition has evolved over the years, eventually bringing promising Danish designers into the Klint studio to create new productions.
