I bought this lamp for our home office. We had a green shade bankers lamp but the shade broke. This lamp gives off a nice warm glow and really lights up the desk where it's aimed. It's very nice looking, well made and heavy. The item was packed extremely well. We are very happy with this lamp.

This desk lamp has the vintage look of an old-fashioned banker's lamp.I cannot fault it in any way-it has a nice heavy base,an attractive cream glass adjustable shade and a nice dark bronze finish. If anything, when I put the recommended 60 watt bulb in,it was too bright for the area so I used a 40 watt instead.Also the pull chain works smoothly.

I use this lamp next to my bed for reading. Love the lamp, though it took some getting use to since the shade casts a yellowish light into the room. Even still, I love the lamp and now like the quality of light as well. I recommend it!

This is really a nice looking lamp and easy to turn on and off. The color of the shade is a nice color and it looks great on. Anyone would be pleased with this lamp.

Cord sticks up a little in back due to where it comes out of the base. Otherwise, perfect. Base is nice and heavy and the pull chain works very smoothly.

Solidly made, great size for a desk. I only wish they had swing arm lamps or other lamps to match (table, buffet, etc.) this style.
