We do not require an adult signature for deliveries, but please note that the decision to leave your package without a signature is at the discretion of the delivery person. This attractive light looked huuuge when we took it out of the box, but upon installation we were delighted with its appearance. We were also pleased that it can accomodate a 150 w. light bulb - most pendant lights are limited to much lower power. My husband and I dine at this island often, and can easily read the morning paper under the 150 w. bulb without being overwhelmed. The display of light is not intrusive even when we entertain guests who inevitably stand around the island.
