We do not require an adult signature for deliveries, but please note that the decision to leave your package without a signature is at the discretion of the delivery person. Comments about Kichler Family Spaces Indoor 1 Light Incandescent White Pendant:
Had purchased one of these many years ago, from a lighting distributor, as a kitchen light over an island when house was built. Worked fine for many years, but then socket went bad and Kichler told me that a replacement socket was not available, and I had to purchase a whole new fixture. New one is Chinese manufacturer (old one wasn't), more cheaply made, the glossy paint finish gives hot spots (old one didn't - it used a matte finish), cord thinner than old one, small wire nuts, no grommet to protect the cord where it leaves the cover plate at the box (old one did).
Service and delivery comments:
Shipped in manufacturer box with no extra packing, so fixture arrived dented, and had to work at straightening it out. Didn't see a point in returning it, since the replacement would likely have been shipped the same way, and would have likely arrived dented too.
