This product has exceeded my expectations. I bought it to enable me do some reading in the living room, and it works perfectly. For the price, it is a very good purchase. Before the purchase, I was a little hesitant because of a few negative comments, but I went ahead anyway, and I am glad I did.

This lamp provides bright, natural light without heat. It is very nice to work under, like for sewing (which is my purpose for it). It is maneuverable and sturdy. It is difficult to assemble in feeding the heavy wires into the tube and getting the metal tube screw threads to line up and not get cross threaded. But once it is assembled, your done with the hard part and you can just enjoy the bright, cool lighting.

The pole looks like a vacuum cleaner hose. Actually, my vacuum looks classier. But the light is great for reading and needlework.

I really like that the neck of the lamp is adjustable and the full spectrum light is great for\nreading, sewing, any fine work ...I had a hard time\nreading at night and doing fine work and this lamp\nis marvelous for rectifying that problem..its compact enough so that you can place it in between\nplaces as long as there is a spot for base to be just a few inches is needed...and replacement bulbs\ncan be purchased at a good sized hardware store
