Its inventor Dan Sheaffer states that he thought up the idea while sitting in his suburban backyard while observing a canopy of sky scraping one hundred year old oaks. It was here that it dawned on him “how cool would it be to plant flowers and greenery in a semi-circular box that could conform to the different sizes of trees in my yard at whatever height I found pleasing?” It was there that the idea was germinated and grew into what today is the FLEXIT™ Planter by
