Mario Ruiz is a technical designer educated at the Elisava School in Barcelona (Spain). In 1995 he founded Costa Design, a design firm driven by a multidisciplinary concept. Under the Costa Design brand, Ruiz manages the execution of industrial and technological projects, such as TVs, electrical appliances, tools or machinery.

Mario Ruiz has received many awards, including several Silver Deltas ADI-FAD, three IF awards and three Red Dots. His projects are often featured on specialized magazines like Diseņo, Diseņo interior, Arquitectura y diseņo, Experiment, etc.
