Born in Milan in 1961, Pirovano is a designer, stage designer, graphic artist and interior designer that combines various languages in his projects and insists on the close bond between function and representation in his products and designs. As can be seen through his numerous creations for Alessi, everyday items are made into something that crosses national boundaries, cultures and ideals, mixing child and adult imagination alike with true versatility and functionality. The Rondo Toothpaste lid is no exception, featuring a bubbly little character that replaces your normal toothpaste lid for an interesting surprise. After screwing him onto your tube simply remove his hand from his mouth and give a squeeze. In this creative design the toothpaste will now be dispensed through Rondo's mouth! Made from PP plastic in a series of four color options, this durable piece is sure to be around for a while.
